Obstacles of the sea
Odysseus' journey is not over yet. All the different dooms of the sea are going to continue one after the other with no mercy and no end. As we watched Odysseus and the crew, we noticed that they were unusually prepared for the challenges they were facing. For the sirens, they had beeswax to plug their ears and the crew tied Odysseus to the boat. They must have had help from the gods. Although he was foolish not to tell the men about Scylla. She plucked them off the ship one by one exactly like the Cyclops did to us. Thr biggest problems began when the crew did not listen to Odysseus' and Circe's warnings of the island of Thrinacia, the island of the sun God Helios. They feasted on the cattle there, without a second thought. For their actions they must figure out a way to payback Helios, so he continues to shine. Just when we thought they were learning how to manage without us, they make yet another foolish mistake. For once though it was not the fault of Odysseus.
