Suitors No More

Oh that Odysseus, what a show off. Although we watched very much entertained by his success with such a great amount of suitors. One by one he took them down. I am sure the power was given by his anger that so many were disloyal to him and they were trying to steal his wife and home. He planned on fighting only with his own limbs yet Telemachus thought better of the situation and retrieved the basic fighting tools for his father. What also helped him was the power of the great goddess Athena. But even if she did not intervene, he probably would have triumphed the same. Once the suitors noticed that the goddess was working in their opponent's favor, they slowly gave up and accepted their fate. It was completely obvious that the beggar was in fact Odysseus in disguise.

Now that Odysseus has won his final battle, he prepares himself to greet his wife Penelope whom he has been away from for so many years.
